HISTORY

Hello. I'm Jason "Halogen" Dunn, from Burlington, VT and Boston, MA, currently residing in Los Angeles, CA with my cats, Kaiser and Olive.

My past work with The Luxury and The Halogens (hence the name), has been compared to the likes of Matthew Sweet, Oasis, Michael Penn, R.E.M., Radiohead, Pink Floyd, and (of course) The Beatles. I've been lucky enough to share stages with Coldplay, Santigold, Wheat, David Lee Roth (?!), and too many insanely talented east coast acts to fit on one website.

Upon moving to Los Angeles in 2016, I took up the mantle of "solo artist" and began creating new material of a more personal nature. My debut solo single "It's a Crime Where I Come From" was released in June 2018, accompanied by a dazzling video directed by Lawrence Hollie. My next singles, "Leave Me Low" and "Ruxpin In the Attic" were released in late August and September, 2021, respectively, and my debut album "Disasterpiece Theatre" arrived October 22nd, 2021.

Feel free to contact me here with any questions. Make them fun.
